| We spent our first day/night in San Francisco. We stayed at Fisherman's Wharf and pretty much just saw the sight's there. There was plenty to see though. We were told that we "HAD" to eat at Scoma's, well you know how that goes . . . . . . well Scoma's "IS" a must if you go to Fisherman's Wharf!! YUMMMMMY! We also visited a WWII submarine (USS PAMPANITO) it was a self guided tour and we were the only ones there. They gave you an IPOD shuffle that took you through the sub. Very Cool with actual quotes from some of the men who served. We're blessed to live in a country where men and women are willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom! We took some pics of Alcatraz but didn't visit (Lesha had an unpaid speeding ticket). We went to the Ghirardelli Chocolate fatory but it was under renovation. It doesn't sound like much but it was a full day and night of fun! Oh . . . . I almost forgot . . . . . we also went across this big bridge . . . . . . |
